Report Meta Information

This assesslet inserts the meta-information of the test execution like test case name, test result, and other details in the report.

Meta Information table settings

You can specify how test case descriptions should be treated in the report:

Include test case description

Includes the description of test cases but not of test case groups.

Show inherited description from variants / variant groups

Includes the description that are inherited from variants or variant group.

Show inherited description from test case groups

Includes the descriptions that are inherited from test case groups.

Include test case attributes at meta information

Enables the Choose Test Case Attributes button. You can add or remove test case attributes from the list or add new test case attributes to the list, see also Test Case Details - Edit Test Case Attributes.

Test case attributes in the report

The attributes can be edited in the Test Case Details view. For more information about how to add custom attributes, see Test Case Details - Edit Test Case Attributes.

When importing TPT files older than TPT 11 that have several execution configurations with different additional attributes, the union of all attributes is set in each Meta Information Table assesslet. A warning is displayed when loading the file.
